flunking at fidgeting
October 29th, 2006
My mime antics for halloween prompted me to come up with a plot and the mise en scene for a short film that will be entered in the UW Film Club silent film festival. Hopefully I’ll be able to complete all the filming next weekend - if I can get my hands on a camera. Entries are due the 13th, so I should have plenty of time to get things worked out. The film is based on my belief that mimes are tragic characters because they’re never accepted and they also aren’t terribly good at expressing themselves. Much like myself. I’ve seen plenty of mime acts that are very very good. Their physical acting can express probably most of the general human emotions, and definitely evokes a response and empathy but I can’t imagine a mime being able to work out a relationship very well.
Oh, and I dyed my hair black.
Nothing too crazy. Just a few shades darker. Originally it was for my mime costume, but I didn’t have time to do it on halloween, so I just did it yesterday. I rather like it, and I’ve gotten a few compliments - which seemed genuine.
Well, of to writing paper, and reading chemistry some more. Ciao.
